The owners of Birkbank Farm fully believe in research to aid the future Farmers in Ontario.

Every year we usually have a few research projects going on. We offer land, help, and yes our own personal experience with the people who run the projects. Whether it is a trial with Potatoes to aide in finding a cure for the dreaded potato scab or to see how many little bugs land on a sticky strip. Farming is becoming more difficult every year and there could be an answer to a problem right under our noses. It's very easy to ignore a problem or to say let someone else do it but somewhere the bucks got to stop.

We usually have a couple of projects on the go; it's usually something different every year. Jeff hasn't said what's happening this year, I think he wants to surprise us!
